Second, electronic limit device
Structure and principle
The electronic limit device is mainly composed of a sensor, a controller and an actuator. Sensors are used to detect the position of objects, common photoelectric sensors, Hall sensors and so on. For example, photoelectric sensors transmit and receive light to determine whether an object has reached a limit position. When the object blocks the light, the sensor generates a signal and transmits it to the controller. The controller determines whether the limit condition is reached according to the sensor signal, and then issues instructions to the actuator (such as the motor driver, solenoid valve, etc.) to stop or change the movement of the object.
Taking the conveyor belt on an automated production line as an example, photoelectric sensors are installed at both ends of the conveyor belt as electronic limiting devices. When the product on the conveyor belt moves to the sensor detection area and blocks the light, the sensor sends the signal to the controller, which can control the conveyor motor to stop running and prevent the product from falling.
Application scenario
The electronic limit device plays an important role in the motion control of the robot arm. When a robot arm performs a variety of complex actions, it needs to precisely control the range of motion of each joint. The electronic limit device monitors the Angle and position of the joint in real time, ensuring that the robot arm does not exceed the designed working space and avoids collisions with surrounding equipment or people.
In the elevator system, the electronic limit device is also widely used. The top and bottom of the car are equipped with electronic sensors to monitor the position of the car. When the car is close to the floor level position or reaches the top and bottom limit position of the well, the sensor will send signals, and the control system can accurately control the stop and start of the car according to these signals to ensure the safety and comfort of the elevator operation.
Advantages and disadvantages
Advantages: Electronic limit device precision, can achieve accurate position control. It can also be integrated with automated control systems to facilitate remote monitoring and intelligence
